Clinicians can easily access Providence’s MedPearl app in Microsoft Teams

March 12, 2024 Providence News Team

We have collaborated with Microsoft to ease the way for our clinicians by integrating the MedPearl application with Teams. MedPearl will be available in the left-side Teams menu.

To make this possible, all caregivers will see MedPearl in Teams but only clinicians should use the application. If you unpin MedPearl, Information Services policy will force its return soon after.

What is MedPearl?

Developed by Providence, MedPearl was written by clinicians for clinicians to help improve their exam room workflow for patient care and referral management. MedPearl is built directly into our electronic health record and uses generative AI to help advise primary care physicians making decisions on sending patients for specialty care.

What if I should be able to use MedPearl but don’t have access?
