Chief Operating Officer, Providence Medical Group – Oregon

We are pleased to announce that following an extensive search, Brad Geiger has accepted the newly created role of executive director of the Providence Medical Group specialty clinics. We are also happy to announce that after serving in an interim role through the transition, Dr. Dan Oseran has agreed to remain in the role of CMO of Specialty Clinics. He will also remain the executive medical director of Providence Heart Institute in Oregon.

Recent organizational changes have resulted in all employed specialty clinics moving into the Providence Medical Group. In response, we are creating a specialty-specific leadership division to be led by Brad and Dr. Oseran. We’ve included their organizational chart below.

Brad has served in senior-level leadership roles in health care for more than 15 years and has been with Providence since 2012. He currently is serving as the executive director of the Providence Cancer and Digestive Health Institute for the Central Division. Prior to that role, he was the executive director of the Providence Digestive Health Institute for Oregon and at the system level.

Before joining Providence, Brad was the director of operations for the cancer center at the University of Pennsylvania. Brad brings great experience building collaboration between clinical practices, programs, and acute care. He officially starts his new role March 26.

Please join us in congratulating Brad on his new role and in thanking Dr. Oseran for taking on this additional accountability.
