Beginning this month, Brian Holahan, DO, will be serving as a new provider for Providence Cardiology Associates in Olympia. 
Dr. Holahan is a board-certified cardiologist with a specialty in interventional cardiology. His clinical research consists of co-authoring three peer reviewed articles. Having previously worked in Pennsylvania managing both common and complex illnesses, Dr. Holahan is an exciting new addition to the Olympia cardiology team. As an internist doctor, Holahan focuses on establishing long-term relationships with patients and incorporating disease prevention and mental health care into his practice.

After training and working on the East Coast, Dr. Holahan is excited to begin this new chapter on the West Coast with his wife, who is originally from Lacey.
“The Pacific Northwest fuels many of my hobbies including trail running, hiking, kayaking, and skiing. My passion for cardiology has roots in my family medical history as well as my own,” said Dr. Holahan. “I see it as a great privilege and responsibility to be entrusted with the care of my patients’ health and view my career as a calling, not just a job. My approach considers the patient as a whole and I see teaching as an important part of my relationship with my patients and their families.”
