Families are invited to join Covenant Health Medical Group for its 5th Annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Covenant Northwest Clinic, 611 N. Frankford Ave. in Lubbock.
Designed as a one-stop destination for children's back-to-school health needs, the event will offer state-required immunizations, sports physicals and a variety of family-friendly activities to help students prepare for a successful school year.
Families can catch up on required immunizations through private insurance, Medicaid or self-pay options ($8 per vaccine). Sports physicals will also be available for $35 and will be self-pay only. Attendees are encouraged to bring their children's vaccination records.
In addition to health services, children and families can enjoy a variety of fun and educational activities, including:
- Exploring first responder vehicles
- Face painting and balloon animals
- Meeting Star Wars characters
- Games, contests and prizes
- Children's nutrition education, including heart-healthy options
- And more
The event also provides an opportunity for families to learn more about Covenant Northwest Clinic, a 24,000-square-foot family health and urgent care clinic serving northwest Lubbock and surrounding communities. The clinic offers family medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, advanced imaging and on-site laboratory services, and accepts walk-in patients seven days a week.
Whether your child needs immunizations, a sports physical or simply a fun day before heading back to school, the Covenant Health Medical Group Back-to-School Bash offers something for the entire family.
