Seeking Interest: Consider joining our Community Mission Board

Calling on a dedicated community member and health care enthusiast 

We have an opportunity to make a significant on how care is delivered at Providence Centralia and St. Peter hospitals, along with our expansive medical group. 

Who can be considered? 

  • If you reside or work in the communities we serve. 

  • Have a passion for improving local health care delivery.   

  • The candidate cannot be employed by Providence Swedish. 

What’s involved?

The time commitment is modest but impactful, requiring 4 hours per month divided into two sessions:  

  • An online meeting every 3rd Thursday from 4-6 p.m.  

  • A rotating in-person meeting every 4th Thursday from 4-6 p.m., held quarterly at Centralia Hospital, St. Peter Hospital, or online.  

Focus areas of the board: 

  • Ensuring alignment with our Mission, improving community health, and enhancing community engagement.  

  • Elevating standards for quality and patient safety and overseeing medical staff affairs. 

  • Bolstering physician and caregiver engagement.  

  • Advancing philanthropic efforts to support our health care initiatives.
