Resources available to help your patients move

Early Progressive Mobility (EPM) is the utilization of mobilization and ambulation techniques to progress patients back to functional baseline, from the beginning of hospitalization to time of discharge.

Resources are available to clinicians to have talks with patients about the importance of EMP, including:

·       Johns Hopkins – Highest Level of Mobility scale (which should be up in each patient’s room at Providence St. Peter and Centralia hospitals)
