Medical Staff Office caregiver transition: Phil Johnson

We are pleased to announce that Phil Johnson has been selected as the new Quality Improvement Coordinator in the Medical Staff Office (MSO). Phil has been working as a Medical Staff Coordinator/Data Analyst supporting Medicine Departmental Committee since September 2021. He has demonstrated excellent skills, has a strong knowledge of MSO functions, and is technologically proficient.

As the Quality Improvement Coordinator, Phil will be responsible for defining this new position and overseeing the PCH Professional Practice Evaluation Committee, the soon to be formed PSPH Peer Review Committee, Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) for both Providence St. Peter and Centralia Hospitals. He will collaborate closely with medical staff leaders, administration, and the Quality Services Department to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of quality and safety for our patients. He started his new role on May 19, 2024.
