Providence in Northern California Celebrates Nurses and Hospital Week

May 11, 2021 Providence News Team

Every year in May, our nation takes time to salute our nurses and hospital workers. This year, National Nurses Week is May 6-12, and National Hospital Week is May 9-15. During these national observance weeks, we recognize and thank our caregivers, whose tireless efforts remind residents of our communities every day that their health is in good hands.

As we reach the fifteenth month of the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing our caregivers takes on special meaning. From front-desk receptionists, to the environmental services team, to lab techs and pharmacists, to security, to respiratory therapists, to hospital administration and many more, everyone has a role to play in caring for our neighbors and all those in need. We respect, and are grateful for all of our caregivers each and every day of the year.hospital week caregiver
