Lesley Field, a physician assistant at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, started her path into cardiology when she developed arrhythmias as an elite level triathlete. During the investigation into her heart problems with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, Field left with a healed heart and a passion for a career in cardiac health. Today, she is an integral member of Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital's interventional cardiology structural heart team, diagnosing and providing minimally invasive procedures for patients with heart conditions.

In honor of American Heart Month, Field recently shared her story — and the latest advancements in interventional cardiology — in her alma mater's newsletter and website. Read the Touro University story today.
