Spokane, WA—Providence Spokane Heart Institute announces the addition of two cardiologists specializing in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. Their presence in the region expands access and increases expertise available to the care of patients with advanced heart disease. They are affiliated with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
James O. Mudd, MD is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He brings more than 11 years of experience to Providence. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
Robert C. Scott III, MD, PhD, FACC is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology with more than 20 years of experience. He earned a medical degree and a doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas Medical School, Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at University of California - San Diego.
Both cardiologists are accepting new patients. They join Andrew T. Coletti, MD, FACC, Deirdre M. Mooney, MD MPH and M.
