Updates on labor negotiations between PAMC and AaNA
Providence Alaska Medical Center (PAMC) is currently negotiating with the Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA) on a contract covering our nurses. In these negotiations, Providence is committed to working with the union to develop an agreement that reaches our shared goals -- providing competitive wages and benefits for our nurses and ensuring we are positioned to provide patients with high-quality, affordable care.
Throughout this process, our intention is to support a productive dialogue between our nurses and core leaders. Many issues discussed during negotiations can be complex and challenging. Our goal is to create an environment where caregivers and core leaders can have an open and constructive discussion so we can come to an agreement that best serves our caregivers, our patients, our organization and our community.
