Why is this important?

Pre-pregnancy and prenatal care can help prevent complications and inform women about important steps they can take to protect their infant and ensure a healthy pregnancy. With regular prenatal care women can: Reduce the risk of pregnancy complications.

Make an appointment with your PCP once you learn about your pregnancy or think you are pregnant. Your PCP will initiate the referral to OB/Gyn who will take care of you throughout your pregnancy. Questions? Call USFHP Member Services at 800-585-5883, option 2.
