Desiree Ticknor has been a member of the Medical Staff Office since May 2022, previously working at the Mother Joseph Care Center for 20 years. She currently supports the Emergency Medicine Departmental Committee and processes all initial and reappointment applications for the Emergency Medicine/Telehealth Division. Desiree’s daughter will graduate from the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine in May 2024. Desiree is thoughtful, kind, and a pleasure to work with. We are grateful that she is part of the team. Here are some fun facts about Desiree:
- She has a 26-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. Her children are her favorite humans on the planet. She thinks they both hung the moon.
- She has many hobbies. Traveling is by far her favorite.
- She collects mermaids, not real ones, unfortunately.
- The beach is her favorite place in the whole world, any of them. She loves them all.
- Desiree has worked for Providence for 22 years. More than half of her life.
- She loves all genres of music and listens to anything from Enya to Megadeath and anything in between.
