The CME Coordinator will be on extended leave starting at the beginning of November and will not return until January/February 2025. During this period, please keep the following important points in mind regarding CME credits:
- Providers are responsible for claiming their own CME credits in CME Tracker. You have 90 days from the event to do so. Please ensure that all credits are claimed within this timeframe. Providers will need a free CME Tracker account to claim credits. Instructions on creating an account/logging in to CME Tracker are available, please contact the CME Coordinator if you have any questions.
- Our CME program is accredited through the ACCME, who requires all activities to be reported and closed annually. Once the annual report is submitted, additional credits for the previous year cannot be released. The 2024 annual report will be submitted in early March for all 2024 activities. Any 2024 credits that go unclaimed after that point, will not be able to be released. To ensure you receive all of your 2024 credits, please be sure to claim them no later than 3/1/2025.
- We encourage all providers to regularly review their CME Transcripts in CME Tracker to ensure that all credits have been claimed.
Additionally, providers who present cases during case conferences/tumor boards MUST submit their updated CME Disclosure Forms no later than Nov. 1 to continue presenting cases.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the CME Coordinator before the end of October at 360-493-7031 or Sydney.Bell@providence.org.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
