Providence to enter joint venture with Radnet to expand Oregon Advanced Imaging in southern Oregon

October 8, 2025 Providence Oregon News Team

What is happening?

Under this partnership, the outpatient imaging centers at Providence Stewart Meadows and Central Point would become part of Oregon Advanced Imaging.

Providence has been a part-owner of Oregon Advanced Imaging since 2003.

We would continue to give great care at Oregon Advancing Imaging with our new trusted partner, Radnet. This change would mean patients would have improved access to high-quality imaging services.

We expect this change to take effect by the end of the year. The final timeline is dependent on approval from Oregon Health Authority, which can take up to 180 days.

Why are we doing this?

When Medford Radiology Group told us they would be leaving Oregon Advanced Imaging, we had to find a new partner.

We looked to find a partner that would invest in cutting-edge technology and support high quality care in southern Oregon.

This new partnership is how we can continue serving southern Oregon. Without this joint venture, we would not be able to offer the same scope of imaging services.

Which Providence outpatient imaging centers are involved?

  • Providence Diagnostic Imaging Central Point (870 S. Front St., Ste 140, Central Point, OR 97502)
  • Providence Stewart Meadows Diagnostic Imaging (70 Bower Dr. Medford, OR 97501)

Which Oregon Advanced Imaging centers are involved?

  • Oregon Advanced Imaging: Navigator’s Landing (881 O’Hare Parkway, Medford, OR 97501)
  • Oregon Advanced Imaging: Providence Medford Medical Center (1107 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, OR, 97501)
  • Oregon Advanced Imaging: Providence Central Point Medical Plaza (870 South Front St., Ste 130, Central Point, OR 97502)

How would this affect Providence caregivers?

All outpatient imaging caregivers at Stewart Meadows and Central Point would have the opportunity to join Radnet.

Would patients experience a difference?

Patients would have access to all outpatient imaging centers. Patients would also be able to schedule imaging appointments through 541-608-0350 or Radnet by calling 818-616-6538.

Radnet would bring in expertise and resources to expand options for patients.

Our top priority is that patients will continue to have a good experience and convenient access to the imaging services they need.

Who is RadNet?

RadNet is the nation’s largest provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging, with more than 400 centers, 11,000+ employees, and a presence in 8 states.

For patients, RadNet delivers convenient, affordable, and accurate imaging.

For employees, RadNet offers a stable, growth-focused workplace driven by innovation and patient care.
