In February, Providence named Dr. Mike Barsotti chief administrative officer for children’s services for Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital and Children’s Services in Eastern Washington.

Dr. Barsotti previously served as chief administrative officer for Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. In his expanded role, he will oversee inpatient pediatric services across Eastern Washington, including Spokane and Stevens Counties, Kadlec, and Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla.

Dr. Barsotti will work closely with the Providence Clinical Network to maintain close alignment across pediatric specialty care in the region.

“I’m excited to take on this expanded role,” said Dr. Barsotti. “I’m eager to learn from my colleagues across Southeast Washington and to collaborate with them to provide the best possible care for the kids in our communities.”

Dr. Barsotti is the current president of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He started as a neonatologist at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in 1997.
