The new location for Providence Physiatry and Sports Medicine is 1717 13th Street, Suite 401, Everett; conveniently located across the street from Providence Regional Medical Center Colby campus.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Providence’s Physiatry & Sports Medicine clinic has relocated to the Providence Regional Medical Center, Colby Campus.

  • The move creates a hub for innovative care.

  •  New location improves treatment access for Snohomish County patients.

Providence’s Physiatry and Sports Medicine clinic has moved to the Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. The clinic is now co-located with the rest of outpatient neuroscience on the 4th floor of the 1717 Building.

WHY IT MATTERS

The move — and collaboration of neurology, sports medicine, and physiatry in one location — allows clinicians to coordinate and create comprehensive plans of care to help patients meet their goals.

“As an example, I'm aiming to build and coordinate resources for concussion in the community," said Dr. Andrew Gomez of Providence Sports Medicine. “Sharing clinical space with our Neurology teams will help me provide better concussion care.”

ADVANCING QUALITY OF CARE

The move aims to ease the way patients’ access to care. Having neurosurgery, neurology, physiatry and sports medicine under one roof increases patient access to essential treatments without requiring the patient to travel to two different buildings.

“Having Physiatry and Sports Medicine on the Colby campus allows us to further integrate neuroscience clinical programs including stroke, spinal disease, and neurotrauma. Patients will be able to be seen and treated more efficiently, and with fewer delays,” says Dr. Martin Holland, medical director at Providence Neuroscience Center Everett.

Dr. Gomez believes the new location is great for countless reasons and creates opportunities to connect people, patients, and clinicians.  “Closer proximity to other specialties creates ample learning and growth opportunities, which helps me serve patients better.”
