December 8, 2023

For the second year in a row, U.S. News & World Report ranked Providence St Joseph Hospital for high performance in maternity care.

The annual evaluation, among the publication’s newer specialty performance ratings, is designed to assist expectant parents and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive maternity care.

“This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care, ensuring an excellent patient experience and upholding the highest standards of quality for both mothers and newborns,” said Michelle Genova, Chief Nursing Officer. “Awards such as these reflect the dedication and excellence that our team consistently brings to our community in providing the best possible maternity care."

This prestigious rating speaks to the dedication, excellence, and high-quality care our hospital provides to its community. To help patients decide where to receive care, U.S. News & World Report generates hospital ranking by evaluating data on nearly 5,000 hospitals. To be nationally ranked with the highest rating by U.S. News, a hospital must provide exceptional care, excellent patient experience, effective patient outcomes, successful technology utilization, and excel in several other important measures.
