Providence eases hospital overcrowding

The five-year strategic alliance with Microsoft has helped keep the organization transformative and innovative in delivering compassionate and quality care.

Providence used Microsoft Azure services to unlock real-time analytics capabilities, replace its on-premises ecosystem with a cloud-based data platform, build a data streaming solution for hospital overcrowding, and improve the National Emergency Department Overcrowding Score for each of its emergency departments.
