Oregon - Medicaid is a life saver for us

A “share your story” submission - Oregon

My husband has been ill for years, and no one seems to know what's wrong. We suspect Parkinson's disease, but the road to diagnosis is long.

We've been waiting for disability for over a year, and have at least another six months to go. I have health issues as well, and between taking care of myself and taking care of my spouse, I can only work about 20-30 hours a week.

Without Medicaid, we'd both probably be dead.

Medicaid matters.
