All Alaskans age 16+ eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine

Yesterday the State of Alaska opened COVID-19 vaccine eligibility all residents age 16+. Thanks to increasing supply of vaccines, Alaska is the first state in the nation to make the COVID-19 vaccine so broadly available.

If you or a loved one would like to get vaccinated, go to www.COVIDvax.alaska.gov or call 907-646-3322 to make an appointment.

Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe?

Yes! The COVID-19 vaccine is a safe, effective way to protect yourself and your community from the spread of disease. Check out the video below to learn how vaccines are made and how the COVID-19 vaccine will keep you healthy.

This video was produced by Conquer COVID, a coalition on Alaska businesses and health care organizations working together to defeat the pandemic in our state. For more information go to conquercovidak.com.

While Providence isn’t currently offering the vaccine to patients, we encourage every Alaskan to get vaccinated as soon as you are eligible.
