Dr. Roth Joins CORE’s Research & Evaluation Team as an Associate Research Scientist
We’re excited to announce that Dr. Sarah Roth has joined the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) as an associate research scientist. Dr. Roth will work with CORE’s research and evaluation (R&E) team.
Dr. Roth joins CORE after spending five years as a researcher in the Department of Community Health Sciences at UCLA. Prior to that, she spent three years as a program manager at the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Sarah on the CORE team,” said Keri Vartanian, Director of CORE. “Her experience, combined with a passion for leveraging community-engaged research to promote health justice makes her a perfect fit as CORE continues its work to drive meaningful improvements in health and health equity.”
In her role at CORE, Dr. Roth will be responsible for the design, leadership, and dissemination of R&E projects, as well as supporting collaboration with partners across a variety of disciplines and sectors.
Sarah received her PhD in Community Health Sciences from UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health with a concentration in Urban Planning. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, snacking, working on crossword puzzles, and being outdoors.
