Portland, Ore., September 2026–The Center for Outcomes, Research & Education (CORE) is pleased to announce three new project partnerships in Oregon and Washington! Read below to learn more.
Project Access NOW (PANOW) – Insurance premium cost projection project
The Project Access NOW (PANOW) Payment Support program pays insurance premiums for qualified marketplace plans that meet specific program qualifications. Donations from Portland metro hospital systems support the program, helping ensure community members have access to care, services, and reduced medical costs. A new Technical Assistance project led by CORE will help PANOW develop tools to project the program's current and future costs. The project is supported by Providence Oregon Community Health and Kaiser Permanente. We're excited to help this impactful community organization plan for the sustainability of this program!

Elevate Health – Landscape assessment project
Elevate Health is a nonprofit collaborative and one of Washington State’s Accountable Communities of Health (ACHs). We’re proud to partner with Elevate Health on a new landscape assessment project focused on creating a whole-person picture outlining the extent to which people have access to the conditions needed to prosper and thrive in Pierce County, WA. CORE will use publicly available data and data from the Connect Pierce Community Care Hub, a free community care hub that matches individuals and families with community-based workers for personalized, one-on-one support. The assessment will serve as a starting point for Elevate Health to engage community members and partners in understanding regional needs, community priorities, and potential topics for collaboration.

Greater Health Now – Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) evaluation
Greater Health Now, a nonprofit Washington State Accountable Community of Health (ACH), has funded and championed Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) programs that leverage paramedics and community health workers to deliver care outside traditional settings. MIH programs aim to help prevent unnecessary emergency department transports. CORE is pleased to partner with GHN on an evaluation of its MIH programs across several counties. Interviews and a review of program data will help GHN and its partners better understand program outcomes, implementation successes and challenges, and opportunities for long-term sustainability.
