After over a year of planning and anticipation, the Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CORE) has officially opened our new headquarters in Northeast Portland, Oregon!
The opening was cause for celebration as CORE had been without a physical office since mid-2023 when we learned that our previous space on NE Glisan Street would be demolished. The new space at 4400 NE Halsey Street, Building 1, is part of the Providence Office Park campus, which is also home to some of CORE’s partners at Providence, including Community Health Investment.
The space features an open office plan with several areas designed for teamwork, including the "Collaboratory," a flexible conference room built for meetings and events. CORE is excited to use this new space to foster in-person collaboration, meet with partners, and host events.
To mark the occasion, the team gathered at the space for a celebratory event with food, games and a toast led by Keri Vartanian, director of CORE. Dr. Vartanian commended CORE administrative team members Kristen Dulacki and Denise Baldwin for their hard work leading up to the opening, including their efforts to shape the space and decor into such a beautiful and welcoming environment, as well as organize the grand opening celebration. CORE is also grateful to Providence for its support in finding and developing the new space.
The opening of our new headquarters marks an exciting new chapter for CORE. With this vibrant and inviting space, the team looks forward to continuing to collaborate on our important work, deepen our partnerships, and create meaningful impact.
