Providence Medical Foundation to acquire Napa Prompt Care from Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center effective August 13, 2023

Providence Medical Foundation is acquiring what is known as Napa Prompt Care effective August 13, 2023 from its current owner, Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Providence Medical Foundation has stated its intent to offer the current staff members similar positions with the new clinic.  They may also apply for new opportunities with other Providence facilities and affiliates if desired.

The nearest facilities that will offer urgent care services after August 12, 2023 will be the new Providence Medical Group Prompt Care at 1621 W Imola, and Urgent Care + TeleHealth on 1^st Street. The Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center Emergency Room is also available for urgent care.  Each of these options is available to Medicare patients.  The Queen of the Valley Emergency Room also offers Medi-Cal services.

Napa Prompt Care is located at 1621 W Imola Ave., Napa, CA 94559 and can be reached at 707-251-4280. Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center is located at 1000 Trancas St., Napa, CA 94558 and can be reached at 707-252-4411. The chief executive is Terry Wooten.
