ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Anchorage area IHOP restaurants will offer each guest a free short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day, Tuesday, Feb. 25. This family-friendly tradition aims to raise needed funds and awareness for The Children’s Hospital at Providence, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

For every free short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to The Children’s Hospital at Providence. Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised more than $30 million to provide life-saving treatment, programs and medical equipment for child patients — including the 18,000 children treated annually at The Children’s Hospital at Providence.

The following IHOP locations are participating in National Pancake Day:

  • 501 East Tudor Road, Anchorage;
  • 1106 North Muldoon Road, Anchorage;
  • 11100 Old Seward Highway, Anchorage; and
  • 1890 East Parks Highway, Wasilla.

Miss Alaska, Miss Chugiak-Eagle River, Miss Birchwood, and Miss Chugiak-Eagle River Outstanding Teen will be available to visit with guests 2-4 p.m. at the Tudor location.
