Providence Redwood Memorial Foundation Announces Scholarships

March 2, 2026

Providence Redwood Memorial Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 annual scholarships.

Each year, the Providence Redwood Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to Redwood Memorial Hospital caregivers, community members, high school seniors and college students in Eel River Valley, Van Duzen River Valley and Southern Humboldt County communities who are pursuing careers in nursing, medicine, pharmacy or physical therapy.

The foundation awards scholarships to candidates that demonstrate leadership skills, good citizenship and who are accepted into an accredited university, college or technical school with a major in health care related fields.

The funds are generated from generous community donors to benefit priority capital needs, core programs, health education, scholarships and new program support for Redwood Memorial Hospital.

The deadline for applications is April 3, 2026. For more information about the scholarships, contact the Providence Redwood Memorial Foundation office at 707-269-4275 or email redwoodmemorialfoundation@providence.org.
