Providence Vascular Surgery Program has expanded to include new providers and services to meet the needs of patients with vascular disease.

TAVR research published
Members of Providence Heart Institute’s Valve Program recently completed a manuscript that was published as the largest single center experience with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) in literature. Providence has performed more than 2,000 TAVR procedures. It is one of the highest-volume TAVR sites in the country and the highest volume site in Oregon.

3 melanoma studies
The incidence of melanoma is increasing faster than other skin cancers. Providence Cancer Institute is one of a few centers in the Pacific Northwest to offer three new studies of postoperative adjuvant immunotherapy for high-risk melanoma.

New provider in Providence Liver Cancer Clinic

Jon Gerry, M.D., is a newly hired provider in the Franz Liver Cancer Clinic at Providence Cancer Institute. He attended medical school at Harvard University, residency at Stanford University, and a fellowship in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery at Providence Portland Medical Center.
