Express your support for diversity, equity, inclusion and voting

September 18, 2020 Providence Pulse Content Team

Many employees have expressed a desire to support Providence’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, Providence is sharing the message about the importance of voting.

As we stand in unity, Providence has produced some items for employees, including providers, that can be worn at work or taken home, if they choose. Those items are available now. With stewardship in mind, we have a limited number of each.

Please choose one lanyard or wrist band, plus one office sign for “diversity” or “vote.”

  • Lanyard: Providence values diversity and justice (available soon)
  • Wristband: Providence values diversity; Providence values justice
  • Caregivers can also pick up an 8.5” x 11” sign to put in offices and staff spaces on their unit, or take home: Black Lives Matter; Racism is a Pandemic Too; Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere; Providence Stands With You; Providence Values Justice
  • Get out the vote: In support of our commitment to health for people this November, we also have signs and wristbands that say VOTE.

Items can be picked up in the following locations:
