HealthBreak | Naturopathic Medicine

October 11, 2018

Naturopathic medicine is a form of primary care medicine. Naturopathic doctors go to a four year accredited medical school and a two year residency. Naturopaths can write and prescribe medications, but also use herbal medicines, supplements, lifestyle medicine (including exercise and diet) and stress management techniques while trying to maintain and promote better health. On this edition of HealthBreak, Elizabeth Stegmaier, ND - a naturopathic physician at Providence Montana Women's Care & Family Wellness - talks about naturopathic medicine and how it treats the whole person.
