The Center for Outcomes Research & Education (CORE) annual Data Summit returned for its third year this June. The event brought 34 partners together in Portland for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

The summit is part of CORE's Data for Change program, which pairs CORE’s data experts with community-based organizations receiving grants from Providence Community Health Investment in Oregon. CORE works alongside these Data for Change partners to boost their data capacity and provide technical assistance, training, networking and other opportunities. The summit is the program's signature annual in-person event.

Dr. Duldulao shared several impactful examples of how the center uses data to tell the stories of Portland Filipino community members. Click here to download Dr. Duldulao's slides.

Additional presentations explored ways that data can be used to advance community-based programs and advocacy, with sessions focused on using data for decision making and using data for advocacy
