Tarzana, CA (May 13, 2026) — Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, placing it in the top 32% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is an independent, evidence-based assessment that evaluates hospitals on measures focused exclusively on patient safety, including the prevention of medical errors, injuries, accidents and infections. Grades are assigned twice annually and are publicly reported.
“This rating validates the high-quality care our physicians and caregivers provide every day,” said Nick Lymberopoulos, the hospital’s chief executive. “Most importantly, it reflects the culture of safety that is practiced across our medical center, supported by strong clinical practices and engaged leadership.”
Providence Cedars‑Sinai Tarzana Medical Center improved from a “B” to an “A” in the most recent Leapfrog survey—an achievement that underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen quality, safety and patient outcomes.
Using data from sources including Medicare, The Leapfrog Group assigns numerical scores to more than 3,000 hospitals nationwide, translating those scores into letter grades that make hospital safety performance transparent to the public.
