New England Journal of Medicine article on melanoma
A review article by Brendan D. Curti, M.D., titled “Recent Advances in the Treatment of Melanoma,” has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Curti, medical director of the melanoma program at Providence Cancer Institute and Franz Chair of Clinical Research at the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute, along with Mark B. Faries, M.D., of Cedars-Sinai in Los Angles, highlighted recent advances in the treatment of melanoma.
Providence cancer research featured at global conference
Researchers from the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute, a division of Providence Cancer Institute, shared their work with oncology professionals from around the world at the 2021 annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Nearly 20 abstracts from Providence’s team of physician scientists and immunologists were selected for presentation or publication during the meeting.
