Providence Beginnings now serving patients in new space

Caregivers at Providence Beginnings began to see patients in their new space as of Nov. 11.

Providence Medical Group is excited to announce the relocation to a shared space with Providence Women’s Clinic East at Providence Office Park 1, Suite 285. This move will enhance patient care by providing these services in a more comfortable, earth-friendly environment and include a variety of services for the community.

The new location is:
 Providence Beginnings
4400 NE Halsey St., Bldg. 1, Suite 285, Portland
 503-215-9160

Just as announced for this new clinic space, they have incorporated various earth-friendly details into the clinic design. Providence Environmental Stewardship played a large part in the design details, and a few are listed below.

  • LED lighting: All light fixtures in the clinic are LED, using 75% less energy and lasting up to 25 times longer than traditional incandescent lighting. These fixtures are connected to a lighting control system that automatically turns off lights in unoccupied areas and adjusts the brightness along the exterior window wall in response to natural sunlight.
  • Rooftop air handler unit: The rooftop air handler unit has been replaced with a model that has a superior Energy Efficiency Ratio and Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratio rating, enhancing occupant comfort and improving energy efficiency.
  • Low- and zero-VOC paint: All paint used in the new spaces is low or zero VOC, contributing to a healthier environment for both patients and caregivers.
  • FSC-certified wood: Any wood used in the clinic is FSC certified, ensuring building materials like doors and paneling come from responsibly managed forests that support environmental, social and economic benefits.
