InScope – December 2022: Letter from physician leaders

Dear Colleague,

As we approach the end of 2022, please know how much we value and appreciate the care and compassion you provide every day to your patients. Providers serve as the backbone of Providence’s commitment to exceptional patient care, and we are very grateful for you.

Although providers and care teams continue to weather many challenges – COVID and its ongoing variants, flu and RSV, and nationwide financial challenges affecting health care – you have never wavered in your commitment to your patients and communities. Together, we will continue to work through these challenges.

If you are a Providence employed or affiliated provider, thank you for living the Providence Mission every day. If you are a community physician, we are honored that you entrust your patients to Providence when you refer care to one of our specialists or facilities – thank you.

We wish a happy and safe holiday season to you, your families and colleagues.

Gratefully,

Elizabeth Ransom, M.D., FACS
Chief Medical Officer
Providence Central Division

Kevin Olson, M.D.
Chief Executive
Providence Central Division
Institutes and Programs

Ben LeBlanc, M.D.
Chief Executive, Providence Medical Group
