Kathleen Burrell, associate counsel for Covenant Health, is recognized for her steady leadership, legal expertise, and long-standing commitment to serving our community. Through her work at Covenant Health and with local nonprofit organizations, she helps strengthen governance, support collaboration, and guide organizations with integrity and care. Kathleen leads with intention—focused on making systems stronger and communities better.
Dr. Sarah Wakefield, Medical Director of the Relational Health Center at Covenant Children’s and a board-certified psychiatrist, is honored for her leadership in pediatric mental health care. She has pioneered innovative, family-centered models that bridge hospitals, schools, and communities—improving access and outcomes for children across West Texas.
We are proud to see Kathleen and Dr. Wakefield recognized by the YWCA of Lubbock for their leadership and contributions.
