Updated Oct. 1, 2026

We are pleased to announce that Providence and Cigna have reached an agreement for a new commercial contract in Washington state.

This ensures there is no disruption in care for Cigna members and that patients will continue to have in-network access to doctors, clinics and hospitals in the Providence family of organizations, including Providence Swedish, Kadlec and PacMed.

We look forward to working together to provide vital services and exceptional care to our patients and communities.

Patients with Cigna commercial insurance should disregard any prior communications that state they will be out of network at Providence on Oct. 1, 2026, in the event our contract expired with Cigna.
