What the House subcommittee hearing tells us about telehealth’s future

Dr. Eve Cunningham, the group vice president and chief of virtual care and digital health at Providence, testified before the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health, stating that telehealth has become an integrated part of the care delivery system. Not only has telehealth boosted care quality, access, and patient satisfaction, but it has helped mitigate workforce burnout and hospital capacity challenges.
