Top 5 things to know about getting care during the ONA strike

Here’s what to know about getting care at Providence Medford Medical Center during the Oregon Nurses Association strike that starts Friday, January 10. Our priority during this time will be to provide our patients with the same excellent and compassionate care our community has come to expect from Providence.

  1. Our hospital is open and ready to care for our patients.
  2. We have secured the services of highly qualified, experienced replacement workers who will be working alongside our existing caregivers.
  3. If you have a critical, emergency need, come to us and be assured we will take care of you.
  4. If we need to defer or reschedule procedures or appointments, Providence will contact patients directly.
  5. If you have a clinic appointment located in or near a Providence hospital, you may need to check-in. If we need to reschedule appointments, Providence will contact patients directly.
