Respite beds give homeless patients a safe place to recuperate

For many people, recovering from a stay in a hospital means time spent healing on their couch. A loved one who stops by to make sure they’re comfortable; a home health professional to attend to wound care or help with physical or occupational therapy. But if you’re homeless, finding a place to recuperate isn’t so simple.
