Located on the main hospital campus, the clinic provides convenient access to comprehensive occupational health services

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Providence Medical Group has opened its first dedicated Occupational Medicine clinic, located in suite A461 at Providence Alaska Medical Center.

The new clinic is designed to support the health, safety and recovery of Alaska’s workforce by offering a full range of occupational health services in one convenient location. Providers assist with workplace injuries, workers’ compensation cases, preemployment testing, and return‑to‑work evaluations.

“Providence Occupational Medicine is an investment in Alaska’s workforce — making it easier for employees and employers to access timely, comprehensive care that supports safety and recovery,” said Szilvia Salamon, M.D., PMG chief medical officer. “This clinic continues our commitment to improving access to care.”

A key feature of the new clinic is its ability to coordinate all aspects of an injured worker’s care within Providence’s integrated delivery system. Patients who need follow-up services — whether physical or occupational therapy, lab work, imaging, surgery, or rehabilitation —benefit from a collaborative team of experts focused on getting patients faster access to the right level of care.

“This coordinated approach shortens recovery times, increases patient satisfaction and supports stronger overall outcomes,” added Dr. Salamon.

The new clinic accepts walkins, and patients can also schedule appointments by calling (907) 212‑0222. Additional information is available on the PMG Occupational Medicine website
