Notice to Community: Bridges and CDU IOP Closures at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the planned closure of the Bridges and Chemical Dependency Unit (CDU) Intensive Outpatient Programs at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro, effective August 26, 2025.

Two caregivers will be impacted by this closure. All impacted caregivers have been offered opportunities for redeployment within Providence or will be supported with transition options, including severance as applicable and retraining pathways.

The following three nearest available comparable facilities that offer Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Programs and accept Medicare are Sage House Adult Day Care Center, Thelma McMillen Recovery Center and New Found Life.

The following three nearest available comparable facilities that offer Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Programs and accept Medicare are Coastwise Recovery Center, Thelma McMillen Recovery Center and New Found Life.
