A Tribute to Providence Saint John's Organ Donors

Each day there are approximately 107,000 people on the national transplant waiting list, hoping that today might be the day that they receive the gift of life.  Every nine minutes another person is added to the waiting list.

This recognition page is dedicated to all the heroes who turned loss into hope and transformed lives through organ donation.

On behalf of every person whose live has been saved through organ donation, and their grateful family members, Providence thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank You from Our CE - Honoring Those Who Gave the Gift of Life

Welcome to the Providence Saint John’s Health Center donor website, where we honor those who made the selfless decision to provide the gift of life to others through organ, eye and tissue donation.

Agreeing to become an organ or tissue donor is no small gesture. This heroic decision can help save the lives of up to eight people and improve the lives of nearly 75 others who are facing dire illnesses and injuries.

Within Saint John’s Health Center, we recognize our donor patients and their families through an Honor Walk ceremony, a quiet yet profound way for our caregivers to say thank you to our patients and their families. We also proudly hang the One Legacy Donor Alliance flag at our health center so caregivers can pay respects to those who gave their final gift to others.

Our ministry recently created this website to publicly honor our patient donors and thank them for their choice to help others in our community. I hope it also becomes a place for friends and family members to share memories, express sorrows and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

We hold the memory of these individuals close to us all at Saint John’s Health Center and will continue to honor their legacies for years to come.
