Providence Oregon recognized for excellence in specialty care

The national research firm Healthgrades has recognized Providence Oregon for its clinical achievements in several specialty care areas.

Healthgrades evaluated patient mortality and complication rates for 31 of the most common conditions and procedures at nearly 4,500 hospitals across the country to identify the top-performing hospitals for specialty care. Statistics are based on Medicare data, as well as outcomes in appendectomy and bariatric surgery using all-payer data provided by 16 states.

This year, Providence Oregon was recognized in numerous categories, including:
