Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Celebrates Heart Health Month

Heart Health Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson is celebrating Heart Health month by participating in National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 7, 2020.

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center will offer lipid profiles at no charge every Monday, Tuesday or Friday in February between the hours of 7:00am to 10:00am, no appointment required. Check in at the front desk. Participants must be fasting; nothing to eat or drink but water for at least 10 hours prior to testing.

Cardiac Health profiles, which include Complete Metabolic Panel, Complete Blood Count and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone lab tests, will be offered for $49, every Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 7:00am to 10:00am. Check in at the front desk.

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is also offering a baseline EKG for $30 by appointment only. Call 883-8263 to schedule an appointment for Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 7:00am to 10:00m. All EKGs will be read by a cardiologist from the International Heart Institute in Missoula.

Payment for Cardiac Health Profiles and EKGs is required at time of service. Providence St. Joseph Medical Center cannot bill insurance for these tests. Cash, check or all major credit cards are accepted.

CPR classes will be offered Saturdays from 9:00am to 11:00am or from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Grandview building on the St. Joseph Medical Center campus. This classroom, video-based course will teach adult CPR and AED use and is available to anyone with limited or no medical training. Call 883-7488 to register.
