SANTA ROSA, CA – Nov. 29, 2021 — Providence, Northern California is excited to announce that Laureen Driscoll will become the regional chief executive, effective Jan. 17, 2022. Ms. Driscoll will be responsible for leading a region that includes six hospitals – Santa Rosa Memoria Hospital, Petaluma Valley Hospital, Healdsburg Hospital, Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, and St. Joseph Hospital and Redwood Memorial Hospital, both in Humboldt County – and a host of additional ambulatory facilities, medical offices, and health care services.

Ms. Driscoll’s successful health care career began as a nurse and includes increasingly demanding leadership roles. She currently serves as president of Tacoma General and Allenmore Hospitals and is the West Pierce and Kitsap market leader for MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Wash. Prior to this, she was president of MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Wash. She also served as vice president of operations on joining MultiCare to help lead the integration of their acquisition of Rockwood Health System.
