Credena Health, a Providence subsidiary, unveils newest pharmacy location, nationwide delivery

The 20,000-square-foot facility marks the completion of a three-year project, launching a hub for innovative pharmacy care and patient support solutions.

RENTON, Wash., Aug. 1, 2023 – Aiming to transform the way patients access essential medications, Credena Health, a Providence subsidiary, recently announced the opening of its 22nd pharmacy location in Portland, Oregon. The Credena Health Pharmacy and Patient Support Center at Durham now offers nationwide home delivery and virtual patient support in partnership with each patient’s existing care team to supply specialty and chronic medications more effectively.

"With this new location, we reaffirm our commitment to serving patients far and wide, both within Providence and beyond," said Elie Bahou, chief pharmacy officer at Providence. "The completion of this ambitious project marks a significant milestone for the organization as we continue to elevate the standard of health care nationwide."

Operating within the Providence health system, Credena Health pharmacies partner with health care providers and a network of delivery services to transport medications directly to patients’ homes, alleviating the burden of an in-person pharmacy visit. In addition to dispensing medications, Credena Health proactively addresses patient financial concerns, answers medication questions and coordinates with physicians, insurers and drug manufacturers to provide ongoing, individualized assistance in managing chronic conditions. This one-on-one clinical support creates a seamless care experience for patients and ensures they receive personalized guidance throughout their medication therapy journey.
