Experienced healthcare executive to lead pharmacy strategy and operations
Renton, Wash. [July 21, 2026] — Providence, a not-for-profit health system serving the Western U.S., today announced Brad Myers, PharmD, MBA, has been named its new chief pharmacy officer. His appointment follows a national search and takes effect Aug. 24.
Myers currently serves as chief administrative officer for University of Oklahoma Health where he leads operational, clinical and financial oversight of pharmacy, laboratory and radiology services for the academic health system.

As chief pharmacy officer, Myers will lead pharmacy strategy and operations across Providence and help strengthen systemwide pharmacy services to improve quality, safety, value and patient care.

Myers has held other leadership positions at McKesson Corporation, University of Missouri Health Care and Sentara Healthcare. He brings deep experience leading complex healthcare operations, improving performance and advancing patient care.
Myers earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from American Public University System.
