New provider joins Providence St. Joseph Medical Center

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson is proud to announce that Bruce Speicher, DO, has joined the hospital's staff, providing emergency care to the community.

“Bruce Speicher will be an incredible addition to our staff,” said Lynn Weddle, Interim Chief Executive of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. “He is an excellent provider with a wealth of emergency medicine experience and will be immediately available for those seeking urgent care.”

Dr. Speicher has spent nearly 25 years working in and directing emergency departments.

“I am excited to help provide care for the dynamic community of Polson and the Mission valley,” said Speicher. “I feel my experience will be a great addition to the experienced group of physicians here at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center.”

Dr. Speicher attended medical school at the University of North Texas and completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana.

He has been married for 36 years to his wife, Jennita, and has four grown children. He enjoys long distance biking, snowboarding, farming, food, jazz and reading.
