The Puget Sound Business Journal announced their health care leaders awards this year and Providence is excited to share Providence Regional Medical Center’s Dr. George Diaz is this year’s Doctor of the Year award winner. The recognition stems from his incredible works as one of the first doctors to treat a COVID-19 patient and the leader of Providence’s Remdesivir clinical trials.

In addition, we’re proud to share that our CEO, Dr. Rod Hochman, was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for his career long dedication and commitment to health for a better world.
